Welcome to the Community!

We’d like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves. The Human-Centered Design Center of Excellence (HCD CoE) is one of two Centers of Excellence that your team can leverage as a resource to support you in your work. Because CCSQ’s Information Systems Group (ISG) values a continuous improvement mindset, our goal is to make you aware of the support services available to your team. We support programs such as yours by providing human-centered research and design best practices through training, coaching, and other services as you seek to provide viable, feasible, and desirable solutions for the consumers benefitting from them. Here is a brief video to introduce you to both Centers of Excellence:




Four HCD Services

TRAINING

We offer training programs, workshops, and share knowledge via multimedia (e.g., methods, blog posts, newsletters) to build the capacity of employees in specialized areas. This helps enhance skills, competencies, and awareness related to human-centered design.

BEST PRACTICES

We are responsible for developing and promoting standardized processes, methodologies, and best practices across CCSQ. This helps ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency in operations across the agency.

CONSULTING

We gather and cultivate specialized expertise, often bringing together subject matter experts (SMEs) from various disciplines. This expertise is leveraged to address complex challenges, provide guidance, and offer solutions in your respective domains.

COMMUNITY

We facilitate collaboration and coordination among stakeholders within the agency and across contract entities. We host forums for sharing information, collaborating on projects, and aligning efforts to achieve common objectives.
