Optimal Olive (Agile Backlog Manager)

I've been in government contracting for over a decade, and I like working in the background. I spend my time making sure the puzzle pieces fit together, and everything is running smoothly. Although my role is not part of the traditional SAFe model, it has proven its value.

I manage the Jira and program board's logistics and ensure that features and epics get the attention they require, and that objectives and federal mandates are being executed and met. It is my job to understand and relay objectives and catch intricacies that could cause bottlenecks. I work very closely with the Release Train Engineer, Product Owner, and Solution Management Team. Some challenges come with always maintaining so many communication lines and juggling so many balls, but that's what I love about my job.
