Leading a Mature HCD Practice

Whether your team is new to Human-Centered Design or working to mature its existing practices, this course is for anyone who would like to be an effective agent of change in bringing the customer to the forefront of decision making. 

  • Duration: 4 hours  
  • Level: Intermediate  
  • Prerequisites: Recommend completion of Foundational Learning Path (FLP) courses HCD 101 Introduction to HCD and LACE Agility Foundations.
  • Companion Courses: Consider HCD 102 Personas: Gain Empathy and HCD 104 Customer Empathy Through Journey Mapping.
  • Attendee types: All CMS development teams, leaders, SMEs, policy staff, management supporting CMS policy, business, products and services.
  • Class type: Remote
  • Objectives:  After attending the remote training, attendees will understand 1) how to effectively communicate the value of HCD to leadership, 2) how to assess the HCD maturity of a team, and 3) how to strategically improve your HCD implementation.
