Slack is the replacement for HipChat. It is a digital based collaboration platform that allows you to connect with individuals as well as groups within the HCQIS Community using a variety of different methods including: Channels,  Direct Messaging, Voice Calls,  Screen Share, File Sharing and more.

Slack is HARP integrated, thus leveraging a different user account than what is currently used to access the QualityNet Atlassian tool suite. If you plan to use QualityNet Slack, you must obtain a HARP ID and submit a request for a QualityNet Slack user role. The Security Official within your organization will review and approve the request.

Who Can Request Slack?

Currently, CMS Federal users and organizations that were using QualityNet Atlassian are loaded into HARP. Users log in to HARP and request the Slack user role.

CMS CCSQ contracts can request the use of QualityNet Slack by submitting a request via email with business justification to the CMS POCs: Erin Wolfe and Shamim Almamun. Once approved, the organization will be loaded and users can start requesting access.
