Group Discussion: Recruiting research Participants.

The following questions were asked:

• What has worked for your team t hat you recommend for others
• How have you recruited volunteers to participate in research activities?
• What ongoing challenges do you face?

• What role could a CoE play?

• Discussion around building relationships to recruit participants and the challenges of recruiting within the government space.
• The importance of making sure that we also recruit participants with disabilities. It has a significant impact for Section 508 which is critical when developing applications and services in the Government space.
• Question was asked about compensation & incentives for people to participate in Federal Government space.
