Established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), QualityNet (also referred to as the QualityNet Portal (QNP)) provides healthcare quality improvement news, resources and data reporting tools and applications used by healthcare providers, hospitals, physician offices, and others for various Lines of Business (LOBs). Among the information that can be found on the QualityNet Portal are measures specifications and definitions, reporting requirements, and program specifications. There are also helpful resources such as reporting dates, webinars, and resources. All the CMS quality program information provided on QualityNet is organized by provider type into six broad categories of care or healthcare communities: Inpatient Hospitals, Outpatient Hospitals, Prospective Payment System (PPS) Exempt Cancer Hospitals, Ambulatory Surgical Centers, End-Stage Renal Disease Facilities, and Inpatient Psychiatric Facilities. |
