During this online, two-hour training, attendees will learn about a survey life cycle, general guidelines, best practices in survey design, and how to avoid common problems while gaining insights into this popular research method. |
They will finish the course with the skills to create surveys following a seven-step process including how to define goals, write straightforward questions, and obtain accurate and meaningful results.
- Duration: 2 hours
- Level: Introductory
- Prerequisites: Recommend completion of Foundational Learning Path (FLP) courses HCD 101 Introduction to HCD and LACE Agility Foundations.
- Companion Courses: Consider HCD 103 Optimizing Usability with Site Analytics.
- Attendee types: All CMS development teams, leaders, SMEs, policy staff, management supporting CMS policy, business, products and services.
- Class type: Remote
- Objectives: After attending the remote training, attendees will be able to create surveys following a seven-step process including how to define goals for research planning, write straightforward questions, and obtain accurate and meaningful results. , while supporting effective decision-making through the lens of customer data.
