Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a low- to no-code technology that can automate repetitive, rule-based tasks. RPA can record actions performed across a personal computer, access systems, and perform specific tasks for human users. UiPath, that RPA is implemented through, allows for individuals to become Citizen Developers of RPA. This puts the power of creating automations in your hands to help you automate repetitive tasks you encounter in your day to day.

Goals include:

  • Reducing the manual time of a process performed
  • Improving quality of a process
  • Giving individuals time to work on more thought provoking items
  • Collaborating with the RPA CoE team on unattended automations

QUICK START GUIDE

This briefly and succinctly describes the essential steps to getting started with RPA:

Step 1: Submit a RPA Onboarding request through JSM at: RPA Service Request - Service project (cms.gov)

Step 2: An approval or decline request will be sent to you once the onboarding request has been reviewed.

If approved; Submit your HARP request utilizing the HARP Instructions for UiPath at:  HARP Access and UiPath Login Instructions

If declined; No further action is required.
