Human-Centered Design Center of Excellence (HCD CoE)

Since 2017, the Human-Centered Design Center of Excellence (HCD CoE) has worked with CCSQ employees and contractors to gain greater customer understanding in order to innovatively create and improve their experiences (i.e., products, programs, services, and policies).

What are Centers of Excellence?

What are the benefits of CoE?

  • An enterprise focus on continuous improvement helps CCSQ realize value sooner as they deliver customer-centric and employee-centric products, services, programs, and policies.
  • Applying philosophies of lean, agile, and human-centered design is a government mandate for improving services by reducing public burdens and increasing trust.
  • LACE and HCD CoE combine discipline experts with CCSQ experience to provide relevant process support across the organization.
  • CoE resources can be rapidly deployed for new initiatives and non-development teams that do not have dedicated HCD or Agile support
  • CoE training informs the community of industry best practices and how to perform their roles, increasing employee engagement.
  • Agility and HCD practices keep CCSQ creating solutions that address consumers’ challenges.
