Product Management has content authority for the Program or Product Backlog. They are responsible for identifying Customer needs, developing & prioritizing Features, guiding the work through the Program Kanban and developing the program Vision and Roadmap for their product

Supporting the operations and execution of an Agile Release Train is a crucial role to create and release value. As such, Project Coordinators, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Program Analysts, Subject Matter Experts, etc. are invaluable members of the Program team to help keep the Program and Agile Release Train informed and aligned on Vision and Priorities. These are ART members that can stand in for Program members when they are unavailable and they are trusted advisors that represent the Program.

  • Write documentation
  • Coordinating activities within and across Programs
  • Understand & Communicate Non-Functional Requirements
  • Assist in product evaluation and compliance evaluation
  • Assesses solution risks and participates in risk management activities
  • Leverages a deep understanding of the product and program to assist program leadership proactively
  • Understand all the activities within the line of business (LOB) and ensure coordinated action among all programs and projects within and across LOBs
  • Collecting and aggregating program metrics
  • Gathers information from clients and contractors (ADOs) to create high-quality communications for stakeholders of the product
