Program Working Group meeting Recording 01242024.mp4

EQRS Feature Updates/DiscussionNathan
  1. ICH CAHPS Attestation status report
    1. This is the report from the NCC
    2. It will start next Monday, 1/29 until the last week of February; it will be daily the last week of February leading up to it for that report
  2. In-person EQRS Workgroup meeting
    1. This was a meeting that we used to have when this group first formed
    2. The group would meet 2-3 times a year in Baltimore
    3. Since some of the group will be in Baltimore for the QualityNext Conference, Nathan wanted to mention it to this group to see if this was something the CMS folks would be interested in participating in
    4. Generally, a one day in person meeting where people can meet each other and put faces to faces
    5. The group would dive in a little deeper on certain topics and talk through things
    6. The meeting would be most of the day (for example 9-4pm)
    7. Do not think the NCC participated
    8. It was mainly between ISG and EDI submitters
    9. The Program attended to give future initiatives
    10. Chris and Leah attended to represent as network delegates
    11. Hosted at the DaVita facility across from CMS or at the Mitre office
    12. Porsche will take this suggestion back internally and discuss
    13. The week of the QualityNet Conference will be a busy week for the CMS folks.  They do have internal meeting scheduled that same week
  3. FileCloud Transition impact
    1. The EDI process will not change
    2.  EDIs will still receive their files via MFT
    3. Instead of the files being placed in the folders, where they were before, it will be through MFT mail
    4. EDIs and Networks will be getting their files emailed to their specific recipients of the data
  4. Open Item updates:
    1. Readmit to same clinic <30 days merging records to previous admission issue
      1. If they try to readmit a patient to the same clinic within 30 days, it doesn't create a new admission it  just changes the existing admission treatment date
      2. The record is not handled correctly because there was a gap in there and the system does that automatically
      3. Michael K started looking at the business rules for this process and researching and will get with Nathan to discuss
    2. Business Definition documentation
      1. Would like to see something like this exist
      2. It will be helpful to the EDIs and clinic teammates and others who use EQRS
      3. It will help to understand what is expected in each field
      4. The Business Definition Documentation would be another technical document that is publicly available that could be used in partnership with the data management guidelines for reporting
      5. For example, for the 2728, it would provide instructions and guidance for each of the fields
      6. The Business Definition document would be for the whole EQRS system
      7. Porsche recommended for Nathan to provide the fields that more explanation is needed
        1. Nathan suggested the fields in the Clinical -Labs module/section
        2. RE CMS Responses to EDI Questions for ESRDDKH Program Policy Meeting 1018 .msg
