• Request to convert Error 13477 (Patient must be between the ages of 18 and 54 as of the Vocational Rehabilitation Effective Date.) to a Warning
  • This request should not be too difficult to get done and the Program will get this on the backlog
  • For DaVita this has become a high volume error
  • Per Lisa, this has been approved to do and the ADO needs to prioritize it
  • Per Adrienne the ADO will be converting error 13477 to a warning in PI20
• EQRS overwriting HepB Antibody Test data and not creating a new record
  • Yvette's team has been working on vaccinations and not sure why antibody tests are being overwritten
  • The ADO will investigate this issue and see if this is occurring for all EDIs
  • Per Nathan, this seems to be specific to Hep B antibody data; this has been happening since they started submitting under the new vaccination structure
  • Per Nathan this issue was raised during their testing; they were not able to do testing in August
  • Rachelle will ask Kathleen if FKC is running into the same issue 
  • Revathy is not aware of this happening and will do further research; FKC has not started submitting Hep B yet; Revathy will be able to provide feedback next week
  • Per Vlad - They have not run into this issue because they have not submitted Hep B yet
  • Adrienne and ADO will do more research on why Hep B Antibody tests are being overwritten (Action Item Adrienne)
  • Sarah Filling will send example files to Adrienne
• Request for a sample 2728 XML
  • Nathan is not looking for the new 2728 xml, he is looking for the one in general that should be in the document repository
  • Adrienne will ask the ADO for a sample 2728 xml (Action Item Adrienne)
• Clarification if Supplemental 2728s only required for patients <65 years old
  • Per Lisa - Yes
• EQRS Reporting: new reports, bulk data downloads, etc.
  • No reports were picked up for PI20
• Transplant Module updates
  • Transplant module got picked up for PI20 - getting the transplant centers access and getting them were they can see patients
  • Then they will move into seeing how they can make data available/shared between the dialysis facilities and transplant centers
  • The transplant centers felt the follow were important to them:
    • Being able to see the patients 
    • Have referrals pushed over in the system itself
    • Ability for the transplant centers to tell the dialysis facilities what the patient needs to get done
  • UNOS is not part of these conversations
  • Today, EDIs do not get anything on referrals or what documentation or steps are needed
  • Question from Vlad - Transplant is a part of QIP. Should they start using UNOS data or use data documented in EQRS?
    • Per Lisa - she cannot answer any QIP questions; Ahmar will need to answer 
    • EDIs have not been asked to enter anything; this is about getting transplant center set up where they can enter data (ie 2728s and admissions); then eventually give the ability for a dialysis facility to refer a patient to a transplant center within EQRS; making it a better way for facilities to make referrals and help facilities, transplant centers and patients get their transplants
    • This idea is only preliminary, the program has just started talking to transplant centers
    • Per Leah - Will the dialysis facilities be able to see the UNOS data (waitlist data)?
      • The transplant centers said they would like to have more control over that. They would like to be able to let the dialysis facilities know if a patient is off the wait list, being made inactive, and why
      • They may also be given the ability to admit patients, Lisa has to check on this
• When does PI20 end?
  • It goes out until 12/20
• What was picked up for PI20?
  • Transplants
  • Data in the CDR
  • Vaccinations
  • Peritonitis - CDC asked for some revisions; after those have been completed, they will be shared with the EDIs
    
    • Nathan pointed out the names they provided to CMS to take part in the Peritonitis discussions were never contacted
    • Lisa will look into
    • Per Lisa when there is a demo (UI), those contacts can join the call and provide feedback 
    • Nathan suggested if would be nice to know what is going to be collected and when; timing is important to be able to provide the data
    • Why was Peritonitis given priority over reporting?
      • Per Lisa - due to staffing/resource changes at the ADO level, therefore they could not work on as many things in this PI as they have been able to in past PIs
      • Peritonitis is also something that is under the network contract and has to get done
      • Suggestion from Nathan is for both Peritonitis and Transplant is think of reporting from the beginning; able to make the data available in bulk not patient by patient

Open Forum

DaVita

• Question: since we are past that October 1st transition to vaccinations (structure of the labs has been changed). New error codes for the change was updated.  Can we expect new versions of the labs XSDs, data dictionary and other documentation to show this change?
  • Adrienne will get this information and share with the group (Action Item Adrienne)
• Nathan submitted tickets for other enhancements for errors and warning changes (mostly verbiage).  Any update?
  
  • Nathan wanted to ensure that with labs, errors and warnings (put in upper and lower range limits)l one of the errors was triggering at the wrong spot; wants to make sure all the others are triggering at the right ranges
  • Nathan will send the ticket numbers to Adrienne and Lisa (Action Item Nathan - Complete)

FKC 

• No updates to discuss at this time

DCI 

• Vlad mentioned patient merge error 20002 - this issue was reported about 2 months ago
  • Patient already meets clinical data
  • Clinic may have a QIP penalty
  • Would it be a valid argument to say the clinic go a penalty because this one patient missed Kt/V that couldn't be reported?
  • This has to be answered by a QIP person - Ahmar
  • Per Vlad, this is a rare situation but when they do get this error it takes a long time to resolve
  • Per Nathan, DaVita has gotten the error 20002
  • Lisa will look into why and how to resolve the error 20002 (Action Item Lisa) 

RHA

Lisa is suggesting for the EDIs to look at their depression attestation data because some of the networks have been talking to social workers letting them know they (networks) are seeing certain things and the social workers are saying that is not what they entered.  Lisa advised the EDIs to look at their systems
