Brian is currently a Senior Strategist and Visual Designer with theHuman-Centered Design Center of Excellence(HCD CoE). Beginning his career as a print magazine and advertising designer, he has since developed an expansive creative and customer-driven skill set working across multi-media, and has been practicing human-centered design in the federal contract space for more than 15 years. Prior to joining Tantus as an HCD Strategist, he spent 12 years as a Creative Director, Communications Supervisor, and HCD Practitioner at Johns Hopkins University supporting classified and unclassified communications, primarily for the Department of Defense. Brian obtained a BA degree in Creative Writing and Public Relations from the University of Pittsburgh and holds several design, HCD, and business certifications from IDEO U./Stanford d. School, Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, and the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). Brian resides in the Maryland countryside where he and his wife proudly raised their daughter, who attends the University of Maryland/College Park, where she is currently studying Environmental Science.
