Original Story:

As a ServiceNow user, I will be able to view an updated training/demo video that contains the current content and screens/layouts within ServiceNow for the ServiceNow Knowledge Author Training

AC: I know this is done when:

-the content of the ServiceNow Knowledge Author Training is reviewed -A training script is created that reflects the current content and screens/layouts within ServiceNow. 

-The new recording will contain  

     -New screen images are created that reflect the current content and screens/layouts within ServiceNow.   

     -Closed caption text is updated to reflect the current content and screens/layouts within ServiceNow

 -The updated recording is reviewed by CMS -Coordinate with CMS to have the updated recording published on CMS YouTube.


Revised Story:

Story 1:

As a ServiceNow Trainer, I want to have an approved training script so that my videos will accurately help users of system.

  • draft of script is created
  • Verify there are no gramatical errors
  • Verify the script describes the following system behaviors
    • one
    • two
    • three
  • Verify that the script matches "stuff" in the test system
  • Draft of script is delivered for approval

Story 2:

As a ServiceNow User, I will be able to view training videos so I can learn to use the Knowledge Author module

  1. Verify that the video is updated to show the current screens and layouts
  2. Verify that the video shows the latest content 
  3. Verify that items specific to the Author role are current
  4. Verify the video follows an approved training script
  5. Other differences and identified

Story 3: 

As a ServiceNow User, I will be able to view Demo videos so I can learn to use the Knowledge Author module

  1. Verify that the video is updated to show the current screens and layouts
  2. Verify that the video shows the latest content 

Story 4: 

As a Guvvie of unspecifed title and responsibility, I can publish the Knowledge Author Module training video to Youtube so that help is readily available to users

  1. verify the video is 508 compliant
  2. Verify the video has closed captioning
  3. Verify that the file size, length, etc are provided
