Product Quality is an organization effort from the time an idea is formed until we receive feedback from end users. Gain an understanding of how the entire program owns and creates product quality.
Value Stream Mapping is a valuable tool for improving organizational processes.
During this two-
hour
day course,
the LACE will provide a comprehensive overview of the subject. Attendees will learn the concept of organizing around value and the different types of value streams, the steps for mapping value streams and techniques for optimizing the flow of value and discuss how to manage, maintain, and improve a value stream over time.
You will gain an understanding of the Lean-Agile mindset and why it’s so effective in today’s adapt-or-die marketplace. You’ll also get practical advice on supporting Agile teams and programs, empowering a Lean Portfolio, building a continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture, and coordinating large solutions.
you’ll gain understanding of the Lean-Portfolio Management (LPM) approach to collaborate across silos, empower teams, and organize around value to adapt to what customers want, faster.
Attendees will discover how critical aligning strategy with execution is to any organization’s success and a key aspect of Scaled Agile Framework®. The LPM course helps executives, project management officers (PMOs) and other key stakeholders plan dynamically and be flexible enough to adjust initiatives and budgets as the market changes.
There is a common misconception that design and development are at odds. One prioritizes understanding and the other prioritizes solutioning. Lean, agile, and human-centered design philosophies are meant to be complementary approaches to getting work done.
During this online, two-hour training course, co-facilitated by the CCSQ Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) and the Human-Centered Design Center of Excellence (HCD CoE), attendees will discuss and explore how teams can thoughtfully integrate design and development needs, share responsibility, and achieve a balanced approach to delivery.
Level: Intermediate
Class type:Remote
Objectives:Understand how CCSQ implements lean, agile, and human-centered design via the SAFe model, recognize the complementary value proposition of lean, agile, and human-centered design philosophies, empower teams to apply an agile mindset when faced with program challenges, apply multiple alternatives for team structures to aid in delivering solutions quickly with low costs and engage with the Centers of Excellence to help programs achieve their objectives.
