Are your user stories flatlining? The Coach is in! Work with the LACE to improve them, while learning new techniques to clarify and create value-based requirements.
During this two-day course, you’ll gain understanding of the Lean-Portfolio Management (LPM) approach to collaborate across silos, empower teams, and organize around value to adapt to what customers want, faster.
Attendees will discover how critical aligning strategy with execution is to any organization’s success and a key aspect of Scaled Agile Framework®. The LPM course helps executives, project management officers (PMOs) and other key stakeholders plan dynamically and be flexible enough to adjust initiatives and budgets as the market changes.
The CCSQ LACE dashboard is available for all Scrum and Kanban teams within CCSQ. For those unfamiliar with Agility Metrics, this short session will include a walkthrough of the team dashboard, an overview of each dashboard element, and how to set up the dashboards.
In this LACE Clinic, learners can work with LACE members to interpret and understand metrics, and identify the right questions to ask to help get to the root causes of team performance problems like quality, reliability and flow.
While the role and responsibilities of the Product Owner can be described simply enough, very little is said about the day-to-day practice of those fulfilling the role. This workshop will teach you how to handle the complex responsibilities of a great Product Owner.

UX & Agile for Software Development
There is a common misconception that design and development are at odds. One prioritizes understanding and the other prioritizes solutioning. Lean, agile, and human-centered design philosophies are meant to be complementary approaches to getting work done.
During this two-hour course, co-facilitated by the CCSQ Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) and the Human-Centered Design Center of Excellence (HCD CoE), attendees will discuss and explore how teams can thoughtfully integrate design and development needs, share responsibility, and achieve a balanced approach to delivery.
