Phase 2 Testing Timeline

• 5/4 to 6/1 - EDIs perform Phase 2 (Patient Codes) testing in progress.
• 6/2 - EDI Sign off on testing.
  • Based on results of the testing to date we are anticipating all groups signing off on 6/2.
• 6/7 - Production deployment.

• Davita 
  • Changes going in on 5/25 impact answer to being ready for 6/2.
  • After 5/25 teams will need to reassess - shooting for 5/28.
  • Will handle date of death on their side; Still looking for discussion from program around business rules.
  • Feedback: consider looking into what bucket of errors disappeared and why; Error breakdown Sep 2020 and then what happens today - look at 3 digit codes.
• DCI 
  • Tested; not getting errors any longer; no roadblocks.
  • On 5/26 will retest plan to be ready on 5/28.
• FKC 
  • 11520 being converted to warning? Will not be implemented / will not exist as a warning or an error, there will be no validation. Decision later from CMS whether to bring this code back (related to Merges). Action - Add note to Merge Feature for follow-up on this. 
  • 11523 - do not see this error; were not able to replicate in pre-prod. Still should take into consideration with the Attending Practitioner Error - make sure not looking at legacy data when this goes live. Unsure of what will happen in production so should keep an eye on this. They were going to provide CMS a file. Dropped old CrownWeb file and could not replicate the error so did not think CMS could follow-up on it. 
• NRAA
  • Will be helpful to have the information available around the business rules and how errors work.
  • Feedback on something that was helpful previously - for common errors / high volume - write up on it , with proper solution , and what user could do to fix it; CMS has feature on backlog called Errors and Warnings report to help here. Provided information on how to get things right in the users system (how to resolve the problem).
  • Can help with looking at changes to error codes vs what is expected.
  • Scott asked NRAA to loop in Yvette Yvette.

• Teams can plan to start on 5/26 - Scott will send notification and teams will shoot for updating CMS on 5/28.

  • CMS accretions now have permission to work these

  • Data cleanup for overwritten related to date of death
  • Missing Counties and Zip Codes

Open Questions About Error Codes

• 11251 attending practitioner is required. 
• 11851 (Country/area of origin) is conditionally required. 
  • Country of Origin: Mandatory if Ethnicity indicates patient is Hispanic or Latino AND/OR if Race selected = Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander. Not required in all other scenarios.
