New Frontiers

Despite unexpected changes to our working environment, Tantus and PM3’s standards for excellence in our work are as attainable as ever. The Lean Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) is here to support your transition to the virtual workplace. There are hundreds of world-class enterprise organizations that have proven that the virtual workplace does not mean decreased productivity or communications quality; in fact, many organizations who have implemented virtual workplaces report improvements in effective communication and collaboration.

The LACE Confluence space provides information and training on tools, best practices for virtual collaboration, and communication tips and techniques to get the most out of your meetings and tools, online team building activities, and just plain fun stuff to do. If you need advice on tools, running effective virtual meetings, or setting up a good work space, you can request support on confluence, or feel free to reach out directly to agilecoach@tantustech.com

The LACE has set up virtual communities in Microsoft Teams to allow people to continue experiencing the social benefits of a co-located workplace. Join the “Lunch Room” team to set up video rooms with your work friends, join a community for special diets, or share about your pets.  We encourage you to set up your own communities around your own interests.

Not only are our standards for excellence still attainable, but the vibrant office community of Tantus will continue to thrive.

Key Ideas of the Remote Workplace

  • Working Remotely is Simulated Co-location
  • Tools do not create collaboration, they enable it
