There are two courses that give you the skills for DevOps.


The LACE offers all of these courses as either public or private. Public means that anyone, CMS and ADOs in CCSQ, can attend on a scheduled date. Private is an offering for members of your program on a date that is negotiated. Public courses are listed in the LACE Upcoming Events. If you don't see a course on the LACE Upcoming Events, you can contact the LACE to schedule a private course, or to request that a public course be scheduled.

Agility Foundations 2.0 

During this two-day course, the LACE will cover the foundations and principles of Agility.

What is Agile?

Learn more about Scrum, Kanban, and how the core principles of Agile are applied to digital product development.

Attendees will gain an understanding of Agile Values and Principles, Social Contracts, Key Agile Roles, and more!

SAFe Lean-Portfolio Management (LPM)

During this two-day course, you’ll gain understanding of the Lean-Portfolio Management (LPM) approach to collaborate across silos, empower teams, and organize around value to adapt to what customers want, faster.


Attendees will discover how critical aligning strategy with execution is to any organization’s success and a key aspect of Scaled Agile Framework®. The LPM course helps executives, project management officers (PMOs) and other key stakeholders plan dynamically and be flexible enough to adjust initiatives and budgets as the market changes.

UX & Agile for Software Development  

There is a common misconception that design and development are at odds. One prioritizes understanding and the other prioritizes solutioning. Lean, agile, and human-centered design philosophies are meant to be complementary approaches to getting work done.


During this two-hour course, co-facilitated by the CCSQ Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE) and the Human-Centered Design Center of Excellence (HCD CoE), attendees will discuss and explore how teams can thoughtfully integrate design and development needs, share responsibility, and achieve a balanced approach to delivery.
