Building Access

Anyone entering the facility that has not been assigned a badge will need to sign in and out at the front desk.

Contractors are NOT allowed to use the facility outside of normal business hours unless accompanied by a CMS or Tantus employee. TCF normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM.

Lost or stolen badges must be reported IMMEDIATELY!!

Since this is an open environment shared by multiple workgroups, privacy for proprietary information is not guaranteed. Share at your own risk.

Conference & Team Rooms Guidelines 

Please use rooms appropriate for the number of people in your meeting/gathering.

At the end of your meeting, please put the room back the way you found it.

All iPads should be placed back on the wall to charge when your meeting has concluded and before the last person leaves the room.

In the Potomac rooms, please check that all microphones are in the correct room and are on the chargers. There should be two (2) handheld mics, one (1) lapel mic, and four (4) table mics for each room. All microphones are marked with the appropriate room name.

Place food/drink containers in the trash, clean spills and food off tables.

There should be 21-24 chairs in each Potomac room. Team rooms should have 12-14 chairs (The Anacostia room should have 14-16 chairs). If you add chairs to any room, please make sure they are returned to their original room.

Should you have any issues or problems with the AV equipment, please contact the front desk.

Please contact the front desk for assistance with the partitions in the Potomac rooms.

Please do not put pins in the partitions or damage them in any way.


Collaboration tables are first come, first serve. Please follow the process for reserving conference and/or team rooms.

If meeting participants have not arrived within 5 minutes of the meeting start time, the room reservation will be forfeited and will then be available to others.

Set-up for meetings scheduled for the next day in the Potomac rooms will begin at 4pm unless there is a scheduled meeting in progress.

Cleaning of the facility begins at 6pm Monday –Friday. Please be advised the janitors have been instructed to access all rooms occupied or unoccupied to clean.

Please schedule walk-up meetings by using the room schedulers, by completing the reservation form here, or through the TCF receptionist. Please no squatting. 

Idea Walls

Since the TCFi s used by multiple groups, below are guidelines for the idea walls so they can be utilized by everyone:

Please ONLY write on walls designated as Idea Walls.

Any writing on the walls in the Potomac rooms will be erased at the end of your meeting in preparation for the next scheduled meeting. It is strongly recommended that pictures of the walls be taken before erasing.

Idea Walls in the team rooms should be marked with the authors name, date, team name.

In the event items written on a portion of the wall need to be kept for the following day(s), please add “Do not erase without contacting (name) at (email or phone number).” It is strongly suggested that a picture of the wall be taken at the end of your meeting.

All Idea Walls will be erased and cleaned at the end of each week unless otherwise noted.

Kitchen

A Keurig has been supplied for your use; however, K-cups/Pods are not. Please bring your own K-cups/pods.

The TCF will have paper cups for coffee and water however, if a cup or coffee mug is preferred, please bring one with you.

To avoid slips/falls, please clean up ALL spills.

Please remove food from refrigerator at the end of your stay or week; whichever comes first. Food left in the refrigerator on the assigned clean out day will be trashed. Clean out days are the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month.

If there are issues with vending machines, please contact the front desk.

Please do not leave dishes in the sink.

Lockers

Lockers are available to securely store your personal belongings.

Absolutely NO food or drink can be stored inside of the lockers.

Please see the front desk for further information regarding lockers.
