November 17th and 18th  | Register Now! |  Open House Format 

The CCSQ Data & Analytics Data Camp is a multi-session, multi-day event focused on educating the CCSQ Data & Analytics user community. During this special event, technical experts and special guests present during multiple one-hour sessions, each ending with a question and answer session. This event will be following an Open House format, allowing users to be able to jump in and out of the event to attend certain sessions. This Data Camp is an opportunity for the user community to come and learn more about SAS Viya, CDR, and the future of CAP.

Presentation: CAS provides an in-memory solution to running SAS Programs while Hive provides a distributed approach to accessing large quantities of data. This presentation will cover the best way to integrate Hive and CAS using each in a way that plays to the strengths of each.

Presentation: The CAP architecture is designed to abstract compute services from data. This extensible architecture allows multiple tools to access the data and allows a user to use the tools they are most comfortable with to perform their analyses. We’ll cover the future of CAP with a focus on future data science tools.

Who is encouraged to attend?

Anyone who utilizes SAS Viya, CDR, or has interest in CCSQ Data & Analytics in the CCSQ Community are welcome to attend. iQIES QBIC SAS Viya users should contact us by emailing us at HCQIS_data@hcqis.org to ask questions about whether certain sessions will be beneficial to them. 


How do I know if certain sessions will be beneficial for me?

Check out the Schedule section on this page, which provides a detailed summary of each call. 


Do I need to attend all the sessions to reap the benefits of this event?

Feel free to join the sessions you are interested in - Please review the schedule and see specific details of each event. 


What happens if I cannot attend a session due to a conflict?

All of our meetings will be recorded for future reference. 


Will I be able to participate in the sessions?

Yes - we encourage users to input their questions into the chat during the sessions as each session will end with a Q&A.


Can I have a copy of the presentations?

Of course! For sessions that have PowerPoint presentations, the materials will be posted shortly after the event.
