What is World Usability Day?

World Usability Day unites individuals and communities across the globe to focus on our shared intent: usable products. The day is meant for celebration of our successes thus far in the creation of products and services that are easy to use, and to shine a light on the importance and impact of design and usability.  

2nd Annual CCSQ World Usability Day 

The Information Systems Group within the Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ) strives to design, build, and continuously improve human-centered and innovative products, services, and policies to advance quality initiatives. In keeping with this mission, CCSQ will celebrate its 2nd Annual World Usability Day on November 12, 2020. 

Human-Centered AI 

This year’s theme is Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (AI). Together we will explore designs and systems that are both highly automated and allow a great degree of user control. The goal is to expand human capabilities while maintaining our safety by designing and utilizing AI that we can trust and rely on. Human-centered AI is relevant today and will become even more relevant as we design and build human-centered and innovative IT solutions. From an online writing assistant to the way we regulate the temperature of our homes, AI is changing things all around us.
