QuickSight: How To Use Sheets (Tabs)

QuickSight can have multiple sheets and tabs as part of a single dashboard. This guide will detail how to create additional sheets (tabs) in a dashboard.

Step-by-step guide

  1. In a QuickSight analysis, locate the 'New sheet' icon directly above the 'AutoGraph' section. To add a sheet, select the '+' icon.

  2. There are three options to select from:
    Rename: To Rename a sheet, choose the name of the sheet, and start typing. This option is also available from the sheet menu.
    Duplicate sheet: To duplicate a sheet, choose the name of the sheet, and then choose Duplicate sheet from the sheet menu. Users can only duplicate a sheet if Autosave is turned on.
    Delete: To delete a sheet, choose the name of the sheet, and then choose Delete from the sheet menu. Users cannot delete the sheet if it is the only sheet in the analysis.
